Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Gold: Cut ONE (1) 8 7/8″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles. (These triangles are the upper left-hand & the lower right-hand corners of this quilt block.)
- Brown: Cut ONE (1) 4 7/8″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles. (These triangles will be paired with the Rust 4 1/2″ square & they’ll also be paired with the White 4 1/2″ square in the center of this quilt block.)
- Rust: Cut ONE (1) 4 7/8″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles. (These triangles will be paired with the Rust 4 1/2″ square & they’ll also be paired with the White 4 1/2″ square in the center of this quilt block.)
- Rust: Cut TWO (2) 4 1/2″ squares. (These are the upper right-hand & the lower left-hand corners of this quilt block. They’re paired with the results of the Brown 4 7/8″ square. They’re also paired with the results of the Rust 4 7/8″ square.)
- White: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/2″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block. It’s paired with the results of the Brown 4 7/8″ square. It’s also paired with the results of the Rust 4 7/8″ square.)

Sew TWELVE (12) “Attic Window Quilt Blocks” to end up with the quilt top pictured above. The size will be 36″ x 48″ finished & 36 1/2″ x 48 1/2″ unfinished.
