Mountain Maze Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Dk. Green: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/4″ squares. (These are paired with the White 3 1/4″ squares, which will create FOUR (8) Half-Square Triangles, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- Mint Green: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/4″ squares. (These are paired with the White 3 1/4″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
- Mint Green: Cut FIVE (5) 2 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 7/8″ squares which will create ONE (1) Nine-Patch. They’ll also be the center of this quilt block when sewn together.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/4″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the White 3 1/4″ squares, which will create FOUR (8) Half-Square Triangles, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/4″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the White 3 1/4″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the Dk. Green/White Half-Square Triangles as needed to sew this quilt block together.)

If you sew TWELVE (12) “Mountain Maze Quilt Blocks” you’ll end up with the quilt top pictured above. The size will be 36″ x 48″ finished, 36 1/2″ x 48 1/2″ unfinished.
