Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Aqua: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the White 2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles as needed for this quilt block.)
- Aqua: Cut TEN (10) 2 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the results of the White 3 3/8″ squares, which will create FIVE (5) Square in a Squares, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FIVE (5) 3 3/8″ squares. (These will be flanked by the results of the Aqua 2 7/8″ squares which will create FIVE (5) Square in a Squares. ONE (1) of these Square in a Squares will be the center of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut EIGHT (8) 2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the Aqua 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles as needed for this quilt block.)

If you make TWELVE (12) “Crystal Quilt Blocks,” you’ll end up with the quilt top pictured above. The size will be 36″ x 48″ finished, 36 1/2″ x 48 1/2″ unfinished.
