Quilted Kitchen: Key Lime Pie Quilt Block & Key Lime Pie Recipe
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Mint Green: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/2″ square. (This will be the center of this quilt block.)
- Mint Green: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 1/2″ squares, which will make FOUR (4) Four-Patch portions. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
- Green: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles. (These are paired with the results of the White 5 1/4″ square & then with the results of the Avocado Green 5″ squares. Which will make FOUR (4) Quarter-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
- Avocado Green: Cut TWO (2) 5″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These are paired with the results of the Green 5 1/4″ square & with the results of the White 5 1/4″ square. Which will make FOUR (4) Quarter-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the Mint Green 2 1/2″ squares, which will make FOUR (4) Four-Patch portions. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles. (These are paired with the results of the Green
5 1/4″ square & then with the results of the Avocado Green 5″ squares. Which will make FOUR (4) Quarter-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
