Quilted Kitchen: Rosemary Quilt Block & Rosemary Roasted Potatoes Recipe
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Dark Green: Cut TWO (2) 2 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the Dark Green 2 1/4″ squares, that will create FOUR (4) Quarter-Square Triangles, as is needed for all FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
- Dark Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will be paired with the results of the White 2 1/4″ squares to create FOUR (4) Quarter-Square Triangles as is needed for this quilt block.)
- Dark Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ strips. (These will be flanked on one end by the results of the Dark Green 2 1/4″ squares and the White 2 1/2″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Quarter-Square Triangles, and on the other end by the Light Green 2 1/2″ square which will be the center of this quilt block.)
- Light Green: Cut ONE (1) 2 1/2″ square. (This will be flanked by FOUR (4) Dark Green 2 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ strips and will be the center of this quilt block.)
- Light Green: Cut FOUR (4) 3 3/4″ squares. (These will be flanked on both sides by the results of the White 4 1/4″ squares, as well as the results of the White 4 1/2″ squares, as is needed for this quilt block.)
- Light Green: Cut TWO (2) 4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These will be paired with the results of the White 4″ squares as is needed for this quilt block.)
- Light Green: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/2″ square. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These will flank the Light Green 3 3/4″ squares as is needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will be paired with the results of the Dark Green 2 1/4″ squares to create FOUR (4) Quarter-Square Triangles as is needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These will be paired with the results of the Light Green 4″ squares as is needed for this quilt block.)
