On Cloud Nine: Crosspatch Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Dark Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2 7/8″ squares. On the back side the square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These will flank the ends of either the Green 3 3/8″ x 6 1/8″ rectangles or the Green 3 3/8″ x 14 5/8″ rectangle. Which will create FOUR (4) Snowball Corners. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
- Green: Cut TWO (2) 3 3/8″ x 6 1/8″ rectangles. (These will be flanked by the results of the Dark Green 2 7/8″ squares on each end, which will create TWO (2) Snowball Corners, as needed for this quilt block.)
- Green: Cut ONE (1) 3 3/8″ x 14 5/8″ rectangle. (This will be flanked by the results of the Dark Green 2 7/8″ squares on both ends, which will create TWO (2) Snowball Corners, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 4 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank on both sides either the Dark Green 3 3/8″ x 6 1/8″ rectangles or the Dark Green 3 3/8″ x 14 5/8″ rectangle. As needed for this quilt block.)
