Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Tan: Cut THREE (3) 2 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the White 2 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ rectangles as needed for this quilt block.)
- Tan: Cut ONE (1) 7 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are paired with the results of the White 7 1/4″ squares, which will create TWO (2) Quarter-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut THREE (3) 2 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ strips. (These are paired with the Tan 2 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ rectangles as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut ONE (1) 7 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are paired with the results of the Tan
7 1/4″ squares, which will create TWO (2) Quarter-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
