Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Pink: Cut EIGHT (8) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the Blue 2″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Four-Patch portion’s of this quilt block.)
- Pink: Cut SIXTEEN (16) 2″ squares. EIGHT (8) of these will flank the results of the Purple
2 1/4″ squares. The remaining EIGHT (8) will flank the White 2″ x 3 1/2″ rectangles.) - Blue: Cut ONE (1) 2″ square. (This will be the center of this quilt block.)
- Blue: Cut EIGHT (8) 2″ squares. (These are paired with the Pink 2″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Four-Patch portion’s of this quilt block.)
- Purple: Cut SIXTEEN (16) 2 1/4″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the White 2″ x 3 1/2″ rectangles, which will create SIXTEEN (16) Snowball Corners, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut SIXTEEN (16) 2″ x 3 1/2″ rectangles. These are paired with the Purple 2 1/4″ squares, which will create SIXTEEN (16) Snowball Corners, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ x 6″ rectangles. (These will be the horizontal & vertical centers of this quilt block.)

If you make TWELVE (12) “Glory Be Quilt Blocks,” you will end up with the quilt top pictured above. The size will be 36″ x 48″ finished, 36 1/2″ x 48 1/2″ unfinished.
