Good Luck Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Gold: Cut FOUR (4) 3″ x 10 3/8″ rectangles. (These are paired with the White 3 3/8″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Snowball Corners. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
- Gold: Cut FOUR (4) 3″ x 5 3/8″ rectangles. (These are paired with the White 3″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Snowball Corners, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 3″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Gold 3″ x 10 3/8″ rectangles which will create FOUR (4) Snowball Corners. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 3″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Gold 3″ x 5 3/8″ rectangles which will create FOUR (4) Snowball Corners, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut ONE (1) 2 7/8″ square. On the back side of ONE (1) of them. draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with each other which will create ONE (1) Half-Square Triangle. They’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)

If you make TWELVE (12) “Good Luck Quilt Blocks,” you’ll end up with the quilt top pictured above. The size will be 36″ x 48″ finished, 36 1/2″ x 48 1/2″ unfinished.
