Twister Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Pink: Cut ONE (1) 2 7/8″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block.)
- Blue: Cut SIX (6) 3 1/4″ squares. (These are paired with the White 3 1/4″ squares which will create TWELVE (12) Half-Square Triangles. FOUR (4) of these Half-Square Triangles will be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut SIX (6) 3 1/4″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Blue 3 1/4″ squares which will create TWELVE (12) Half-Square Triangles. FOUR (4) of these Half-Square Triangles will be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 7/8″ x 7 3/4″ rectangles. (These are paired with either the results of the Blue 3 1/4″ squares, or the results of the White 3 1/4″ squares, as needed for this quilt block.)

If you make TWELVE (12) “Twister Quilt Blocks,” you’ll end up with the quilt top pictured above. The size will be 36″ x 48″ finished, 36 1/2″ x 48 1/2″ unfinished.
