Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

• Nine (9) Different Shades of Colored Fabric: Cut ONE (1) each at 4 1/2″ square. (These are each paired with FOUR (4) of the White 1 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Square in a Squares, for each of the colored fabrics. As needed for this quilt block.)
• White: Cut THIRTY-SIX (36) 1 7/8″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are each paired with ONE (1) of the Colored 4 1/2″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Square in a Squares, for each of the colored fabrics. As needed for this quilt block.)
