Block #6 of the Midnight Stargazer 2020 BOM Quilt

There are three different “moon” hued fabrics that make up this “Honeymoon Star” quilt block! Plus the beautiful color of the Ocean! They blend together as if the colors of the planets, to the colors of the midnight sky, meet in the dark of the night!

This Block #6 pattern is the last instruction set for the quilt blocks that make up my 2020 “Midnight Stargazer” BOM quilt! Know what that means?! 🙂 Next month the finishing instructions will be revealed! If you’ve followed along, by the end of November, you’ll have your “Midnight Stargazer” quilt top finished!

Here’s a look at the first five blocks that have been revealed including the “Honeymoon Star” quilt block:

Don’t they all look great? Rich? Luxurious? Oh, wait! I’ve already used a lot of adjectives to describe them! 🙂 But they really do look grand together using the “Bohemian Rhapsody” quilt fabrics designed by Dan Morris for QT Fabrics!

My fantastic, wonderful & fabulous sponsor (since 2006!) AbbiMays.com doesn’t have any “Midnight Stargazer” quilt kits left! That’s great news for her & not so great new for those who missed out on purchasing one. But do not fear! “Star Gardner”
Block #5 Part #2 of the Midnight Stargazer 2020 BOM Quilt

There are seven different “blue” hued fabrics that make up this “Star Gardner” quilt block!
They blend together as if the colors of the ocean to the colors of the sky meet in the middle!

This quilt block’s made using all of the elements that the previous “Midnight Stargazer” quilt blocks have used: Half-Square Triangles, Flying Geese & a Square in a Square! If you were able to sew them together before then you can quickly sew them together this time!
