Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

• Mocha: Cut TWO (2) 4 3/4″ squares. On the back side of each square, draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Cream 4 3/4″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, they will also be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
• Mocha: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 3/4″ squares. Then cut each square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles per square.
• Mocha: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/2″ square. Then cut each square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2 times). Will yield FOUR (4) triangles per square.
• Cream: Cut TWO (2) 4 3/4″ squares. (These are paired with the Mocha 4 3/4″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, they will also be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
• Cream: Cut TWO (2) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut each square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2 times). Will yield FOUR (4) triangles per square.
