Blueberry Quilt Block

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

• Green: Cut FOUR (4) 3″ squares. (These are paired with the White 3″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles.)
• Blue: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/2″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block.)
• Light Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are flanked by the results of the Green 3″ squares.)
• Navy Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 3″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the results of the White 5 1/4″ square, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese.)
• Navy Blue: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. Will yield FOUR (4) triangles. (These will be flanked by the results of the White 3″ squares, which will create an additional FOUR (4) Flying Geese.)
• White: Cut FOUR (4) 3″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Green 3″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles.)
• White: Cut FOUR (4) 3″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the results of the Navy Blue 5 1/4″ square, which will create FOUR (4) Flying Geese.)
• White: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. (These are flanked by the results of the Navy Blue 3″ squares, which will create an additional FOUR (4) Flying Geese.)
