Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (precise 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Purple: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are flanked by the results of the Purple 2 5/8″ squares as needed for this quilt block.)
- Purple: Cut TWO (2) 2 5/8″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Red 2 5/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)
- Purple: Cut TWO (2) 2 5/8″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the White 2 5/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
- Red: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are flanked by the results of the Red 2 5/8″ squares as needed for this quilt block.)
- Red: Cut TWO (2) 2 5/8″ squares. (These are paired with the Red 2 5/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. They’ll also be the center of this quilt block.)
- Red: Cut TWO (2) 2 5/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 5/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 4 1/2″ squares. (These will be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 2 5/8″ squares. (These will be paired with the Purple 5/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 2 5/8″ squares. (These are paired with the Red 2 5/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
