When I was asked to design a block of the month quilt in 2006 out of the “Spencer’s Museum” quilt fabric line, I designed a row of the month quilt.  And, since my maiden name is Spencer, I kept this quilt and it remains on our sofa to this day – used and loved as quilts should be.  It’s not a fast quilt to make but I believe the instructions are written well enough that you can make quick work of it, following along for each month’s instructions.  You can find the free quilt pattern here.
