
Sunflower Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (precise 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Blue:Â Cut FOUR (4) 1 3/4″ squares
- Blue: Cut TWO (2) 3 3/4″ squares. Then cut each square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square.
- Blue:Â Cut FOUR (4) 4 1/2″ squares
- Sienna:Â Cut FOUR (4) 3″ squares
- Sienna:Â Cut TWO (2) 1 3/4″ x 4 1/2″ strips
- Yellow:Â Cut SIXTEEN (16) 2″ squares
- Yellow:Â Cut ONE (1) 1 3/4″ x 4 1/2″ strip

Using this image (above) as a guide, sew your Sunflower together as you would a basic Nine-Patch block, piecing the corner portions then the center and finally the block.
