Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (precise 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Orange: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 1/2″ squares.
  • White: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 1/2″ squares.
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 6 3/4″ squares. Then cut each square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square.

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (precise 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Pink: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 1/2″ squares.
  • Pink: Cut ONE (1) 7 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles.
  • White: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 1/2″ squares.

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (precise 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Pink: Cut THREE (3) 4 3/4″ squares. On the back side of each square, draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time.
  • Pink: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. You only need TWO (2) of these triangles for this quilt block.
  • Blue: Cut ONE (1) 4 3/4″ square
  • Blue: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. You only need TWO (2) of these triangles for this quilt block.
  • White: Cut FOUR (4) 4 3/4″ squares.

  • Pink: Cut ONE (1) 4 3/4″ square. On the back side of the square, draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time.
  • Pink: Cut THREE (3) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut each square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. You only need TEN (10) of these triangles for this quilt block.
  • Blue: Cut ONE (1) 4 3/4″ square.
  • Blue: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. You only need TWO (2) of these triangles for this quilt block.
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 4 3/4″ squares.
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut each square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square.
