Peekaboo Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (precise 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Blue: Cut TEN (10) 2 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the White 3 3/8″ squares which will create FIVE (5) Square in a Squares. FOUR (4) of these Square in a Squares are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block. The remaining ONE (1) Square in a Square is the center of this quilt block.)
- Blue: Cut EIGHT (8) 2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the White 1 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 1 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the Blue 2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FIVE (5) 3 3/8″ squares. (These are flanked by the results of the Blue 2 7/8″ squares which will create FIVE (5) Square in a Squares. FOUR (4) of these Square in a Squares are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block. The remaining ONE (1) Square in a Square is the center of this quilt block.)
