AbbiMays.com’s Five Yard Bundles
While going through my stash for fabrics last week, I realized I had a lot of fat quarters but very little yardage for quilts! Sometimes a fat quarter just isn’t enough to make a quilt block – either that or I don’t have two fat quarters that are the same for a number of blocks that I need to make for a quilt.
I asked my favorite online quilt shop if I could get some yardage for quilts and she suggested I look at the five yard bundles. The cost for these bundles are extremely reasonable – normally they are $25 per bundle (that’s $5 per yard) but RIGHT NOW they are on sale for $22 per bundle – making each yard of fabric worth $4.40 per yard!!!
Linda has a number of five yard bundles available so I just chose those that had the basic color scheme of what I was looking for and went with that. Little did I know I’d need some of one of those fabrics this past weekend for an emergency present for a baby shower!
Whether you are building your stash up or have a need for some yardage – AbbiMays.com’s five yard bundles are the perfect solution, especially when they are on sale!
I love her 5 yard bundles and have gotten a couple of them in the past (why do you have to be such an enabler?) I do have a suggestion –how about putting some bundles together that have fabrics that are more masculine? I like to use these bundles to make charity quilts and some quilts are needed for young men. It is hard for me to make a quilt for a guy using florals, lol.
I hope the new meds are helping you cope with the MS better with less side effects.
Robin,
I wish I could find more guy fabrics too! I’ll look through my stash and see if I can come up with some.
