Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (precise 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Orange: Cut ONE (1) 7 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles.
  • White: Cut ONE (1) 7 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles.

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (precise 1/4″ seam allowance):

  • Blue: Cut THREE (3) 4 1/2″squares. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles.
  • Blue: Cut THREE (3) 4 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square.
  • Teal: Cut TWO (2) 3 3/4″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time.
  • White: Cut ONE (1) 6 1/2″ square.
  • White: Cut TWO (2) 3 3/4″ squares. (These will be paired with the Teal 3 3/4″ squares to make half-square triangles.)
  • White: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles.

  • Yellow: Cut FOUR (4) 3 3/4″ squares. Then cut each square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square.
  • Green: Cut SIXTEEN (16) 2″ squares.
  • Green: Cut ONE (1) 7 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles.
  • White: Cut SIXTEEN (16) 2″ squares.

  • Red: Cut FOUR (4) 2 3/4″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time.
  • Red: Cut TWO (2) 2 3/4″ squares. Then cut each square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square.
  • Red: Cut TWO (2) 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ strips.
  • Red: Cut TWO (2) 2 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ strips.
  • Red: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares.
  • White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 3/4″ squares.
