Rose Trellis Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Gray: Cut ONE (1) 7 1/4″ square. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These will flank the White 4 3/4″ square. They’ll also be paired with the results of the Rose 3 7/8″ squares as needed for this quilt block.)
- Rose: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These are paired with the results of the Gray 7 1/4″ square. Then they’ll flank the Rose 3 1/2″ x 6 7/8″ rectangles as needed for this quilt block.)
- Rose: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/2″ x 6 7/8″ rectangles. (These are paired with the White 3 1/2″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Snowball Corners.)
- White: Cut ONE (1) 4 3/4″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block. It’s flanked by the results of the Gray 7 1/4″ square.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/2″ squares. On the back side of each square, draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Rose 3 1/2″ x 6 7/8″ rectangles which will create FOUR (4) Snowball Corners. They’ll also be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
