Countdown to Christmas Day #18, 2010

Block 5 Cutting:

  1. White:  Cut EIGHT (8) 1 3/4″ squares
  2. Green:    Cut EIGHT (8) 1 3/4″ squares
  3. Gold:    Cut EIGHT (8) 1 3/4″ squares
  4. White:  Cut FOUR (4) 3 3/8″ squares – then draw a line diagonally, corner to corner, ONE (1) time the back of each square
  5. Red:  Cut FOUR (4) 3 3/8″ squares – then draw a line diagonally, corner to corner, ONE (1) time the back of each square
  6. White:  Cut FOUR (4) 1 3/4″ x 3″ strips

Putting Your Block #4 Together:

Finally, add the two longer White and Red strips to finish your block!  Remember you need FOUR (4) of these blocks for the quilt:

Putting Your Block #4 Together:

Now, put the ends on your middle sections:

  1. First put the Gold and Green shorter strips on each side of the Green center:
  2. Then put the White/Red shorter strips on the ends of the above strip:

  1. Make TWO (2) rows with your Gold squares and Gold/Green half-square triangle blocks:
  2. Make TWO (2) strips with the remaining Gold/Green half-square triangles:
