- Brown: Cut THREE (3) 2 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles per square. Only FIVE (5) of these triangles are needed for this quilt block. (These triangles are paired with the results of the White 10 3/8″ square.)
- Gold: Cut FIVE (5) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 1/2″ squares. They’re also paired with the Brown/White Half-Square Triangles. When sewn together they’ll also be the upper left-hand corner of this quilt block.)

- White: Cut THREE (3) 2 7/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Brown 2 7/8″ squares which will create SIX (6) Half-Square Triangles. Only FIVE (5) Half-Square Triangles are needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the Gold 2 1/2″ squares. They’ll help create the upper left-hand corner of this quilt block.)
