If you have all of your ingredients together—then this is a 15 minute recipe—but the pleasure of this delectable treat lasts for hours!
Ingredients:
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. pure vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. creamy peanut butter (I prefer Peter Pan Peanut Butter)
- 4 1/2 c. Corn Flakes
Directions:
- In a large bowl, measure & place the Corn Flakes in it.
- Then, put the first 3 ingredients into a saucepan & bring to a rolling boil.
- Remove from heat, add the vanilla & peanut butter. While stirring until all of the peanut butter is melted & the mixture is smooth.
- Then, pour the liquid mixture over the Corn Flakes & stir well with a rubber scraper. Make sure that everything is coated well.
- Drop by tablespoonful onto parchment paper and allow to cool.
- It may just become your next best quilt friend!
