Piecing Block #3:

1. Create FOUR (4) half-square triangles with the White and Red 3 3/8″ squares using the market White squares.
2. Create FOUR (4) half-square triangles with the White and Green 3 3/8″ squares using the White marked squares.
3. Create FOUR (4) half-square triangles with the Red and Green 3 3/8″ squares, using the marked Red squares..

Now it’s time to put your Block #2 together!

1. Piece TWO (2) strips like this:
   
2. Then piece ONE (1) strip like this:
   
3. Now, put the three strips together to complete your block.  Remember you need FOUR (4) of them for the quilt!

Block 2 Cutting:

1. Gold:  Cut EIGHT (8) 2 1/8″ squares
2. White:  Cut EIGHT (8) 2 1/8″ squares
3. Green:  Cut ONE (1) 4 1/2″ square, then cut the square diagonally, corner to corner, TWO (2) times, ending up with four triangles
4. White:  Cut ONE (1) 4 1/2″ square, then cut the square diagonally, corner to corner, TWO (2) times, ending up with four triangles
5. Gold:  Cut ONE (1) 3 7/8″ square
6. Red:  Cut TWO (2) 4 1/8″ squares, then cut the squares diagonally, corner to corner, ONE (1) time, ending up with two triangles for each square
