Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Peach: Cut ONE (1) 1 1/2″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block. It’s paired with the White 1 1/2″ x 2″ rectangles.)
- Peach: Cut FOUR (4) 2 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. Will yield TWO (2) triangles per square. (These triangles will flank the results of the Dk. Teal 4 5/8″ squares.When all sewn together they’ll create FOUR (4) Flying Geese.)
- Lt. Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block. They’re paired with the White 2 1/2″ squares. They’re also paired with the Dk. Teal & Lt. Blue Half-Square Triangles. Once all are sewn together they’ll create FOUR (4) Four-Patches.)
- Lt. Blue: Cut TWO (2) 2 7/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-Nine-Patch to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Dk. Teal 2 7/8″ squares & they’ll create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. Then they’re paired with the White 2 1/2″ squares. In addition they’re paired with the Lt. Blue 2 1/2″ squares. Once all are sewn together they’ll create FOUR (4) Four-Patches.)
- Lt. Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the Lt. Blue/Dk. Teal Half-Square Triangles. They’ll form a “frame” around the center of this quilt block.)
- Dk. Teal: Cut TWO (2) 2 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the Dk. Teal/Lt. Blue Half-square Triangles. Then they’re paired with the White 2 1/2″ squares. In addition they’re paired with the Lt. Blue 2 1/2″ squares. Once all are sewn together they’ll create FOUR (4) Four-Patches.)
- Dk. Teal: Cut TWO (2) 4 5/8″ squares. (These triangles are flanked by the results of the Peach 2 7/8″ squares. When all sewn together they’ll create FOUR (4) Flying Geese.)
- Dk. Teal: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ squares. (These squares are paired with the White 1 1/2″ x 2″ rectangles to help create the center of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 1 1/2″ x 2″ rectangles. (These are first paired with the Peach 1 1/2″ square in the center of this quilt block. Then they’re paired with the Dk. Teal 2″ squares.)
