Simplicity Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Blue: Cut TWO (2) 4 3/4″ squares. (These are paired with the White 4 3/4″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. TWO (2) of these Half-Square Triangles will be the upper left-hand & the lower right-hand corners of this quilt block.)
- Red: Cut TWO (2) 4 3/4″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 3/4″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles.)
- Gray: Cut TWO (2) 4 3/4″ squares. (These are paired with the White 4 3/4″ squares which will create FOUR (48) Half-Square Triangles. TWO (2) of these Half-Square Triangles will be the upper left-hand & the lower right-hand corners of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 4 3/4″ squares. (These are paired with the Blue 4 3/4″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles. TWO (2) of these Half-Square Triangles will be the upper left-hand & the lower right-hand corners of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 4 3/4″ squares. (These are paired with the Blue 2 3/4″ squares which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles.)
