Crown of Life Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Tan: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 7/8″ squares which will make SIXTEEN (16) Half-Square Triangles. FOUR (4) of these Half-Square Triangles will be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
- Tan: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles. (These will flank the White 4 1/2″ square that’s the center of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 7/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Tan 2 7/8″ squares which will make SIXTEEN (16) Half-Square Triangles. FOUR (4) of these Half-Square Triangles will be the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the Tan 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangles as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/2″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block.)
