Victorian Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Dk. Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 1/2″ squares as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- Dk. Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 7/8″ squares. which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles. FOUR (4) of these Half-Square Triangles are the center of this quilt block together.)
- Green: Cut TWO (2) 2 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ x 7 1/4″ rectangles. (These are paired with the White 2 1/2″ squares which will create EIGHT (8) Snowball Corners. FOUR (4) of these Snowball Corners are the FOUR (4) Corners of this quilt block. As needed to sew it together.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the Dk. Green 2 1/2″ squares as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- White: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 1/2″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Green 2 1/2″ x 7 1/4″ rectangles which will create EIGHT (8) Snowball Corners. FOUR (4) of these Snowball Corners are the FOUR (4) Corners of this quilt block. As needed to sew it together.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 7/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Dk. Green 2 7/8″ squares. which will create EIGHT (8 ) Half-Square Triangles. FOUR (4) of these Half-Square Triangles are the center of this quilt block together.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 2 7/8″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Green 2 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
