Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Peach: Cut TWO (2) 3 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These are paired with the Rust 1 1/4″ x 4 3/4″ rectangles. Then they’re flanked by the results of the Rust 5 1/4″ squares. All are needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- Dark Salmon: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. All together they’ll create FOUR (4) Quarter-Square Triangles as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
