Pineapple Plant Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Yellow: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ x 6 7/8″ rectangle. (This is paired with a White 3 1/2″ square, which will create ONE (1) Snowball Corner, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- Dk. Green: Cut ONE (1) 3 7/8″ square. (This is paired with the White 3 7/8″ square, which will create TWO (2) Half-Square Triangles. There’s only ONE (1) of these Half-Square Triangles in this quilt block.)
- Dk. Green: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ x 9 7/8″ rectangle. (This is paired with a White 3 1/2″ square, which will create ONE (1) Snowball Corner, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- Green: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ x 6 7/8″ rectangle. (This is paired with a White 3 1/2″ square, which will create ONE (1) Snowball Corner, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- Green: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ x 9 7/8″ rectangle. (This is paired with a White 3 1/2″ square, which will create ONE (1) Snowball Corner, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- Green: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ x 12 3/8″ rectangle. (This is paired with a White 3 1/2″ square, which will create ONE (1) Snowball Corner, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- White: Cut ONE (1) 3 7/8″ square. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (This is paired with the Dk. Green 3 7/8″ square, which will create TWO (2) Half-Square Triangles. There’s only ONE (1) of these Half-Square Triangles in this quilt block.)
- White: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ square. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (This is paired with the Yellow 3 1/2″ x 6 7/8″ rectangle, which will create ONE (1) Snowball Corner, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- White: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ square. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (This is paired with the Dk. Green 3 1/2″ x 9 7/8″ rectangle, which will create ONE (1) Snowball Corner, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)

- White: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ square. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (This is paired with the Green 3 1/2″ 12 3/8″ rectangle, which will create ONE (1) Snowball Corner, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- White: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ square. (This is the upper left-hand corner of this quilt block as needed to sew it together.)
