Five Star Quilt Block

Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):

• Yellow: Cut ONE (1) 2 7/8″ square. (This will be the center of this quilt block.)
• Yellow: Cut FOUR (4) 2 7/8″ squares. (These will be flanked on both sides, by the results of the Light Pink 3 1/4″ squares, as needed for this quilt block.)
• Green: Cut FOUR (4) 2 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the Light Pink 2 7/8″ squares as needed for this quilt block.)
• Light Pink: Cut FOUR (4) 2 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the Green 2 7/8″ squares. They will also flank the Yellow 2 7/8″ square as needed for this quilt block.)
• Light Pink: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/4″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These will be paired with the Pink 3 1/4″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
• Pink: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/4″ squares. (These will be paired with the Light Pink 3 1/4″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)

• Peach: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/4″ squares. (These are paired with the White 3 1/4″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
• White: Cut ONE (1) 7 3/4″ square. (This will be the center of this quilt block.)
• White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 7/8″ squares. (These will be the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
• White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/4″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Peach 3 1/4″ squares, which will create EIGHT (8) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
