This block is very simple to put together.  No triangles, no curves – extremely beginner-friendly but is also such a wonderful traditional block for the more advanced quilter.

Begin by sewing the shortest White strip to the Red center on all of your blocks, then press:

Then follow this by by sewing the second (longer) White strip to the right side of the Red/White part you just put together:
