At the Depot Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Pink: Cut ONE (1) 7 1/4″ square. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will be flanked, on both sides, by the White 2″ x 4 3/4″ strips as needed for this quilt block.)
- Purple: Cut ONE (1) 4 3/4″ square. (This will be the center of the quilt block.)
- Purple: Cut FOUR (4) 2″ x 4 3/4″ strips. (These will be flanked, on both sides, by the White 2″ x 4 3/4″ strips as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut EIGHT (8) 2″ x 4 3/4″ strips. (These will be flanked on ONE (1) side by the Purple 2″ x 4 3/4″ strips, and on the other side by the results of the Pink 7 1/4″ square, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the ends of the pairing of TWO (2) of the White 2″ x 4 3/4″ strips and ONE (1) of the Purple 2″ x 4 3/4″ strips, they will also be the FOUR (4) corners, as needed for this quilt block.)

If you make TWELVE (12) “At the Depot Quilt Blocks,” you will end up with the quilt top pictured above. The size will be 36″ x 48″ finished, 36 1/2″ x 48 1/2″ unfinished.
