**Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block** (precise 1/4″ seam allowance):

**Turquoise:**Cut FIVE (5) 3 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These triangles will be used to flank the White 2 1/2″ squares to create the first Square in a Square section of this quilt block.)**Turquoise:**Cut TWO (2) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These triangles will be paired with the Purple 5 1/4″ triangles to create the Quarter-Square triangles for this section of this quilt block.)**Purple:**Cut TWO (2) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These triangles will be paired with the Turquoise 5 1/4″ triangles to create the Quarter-Square triangles for this section of this quilt block.)**White:**Cut FIVE (5) 2 1/2″ squares. (These squares are the center of the the first Square in a Square section of this quilt block.)**White:**Cut TEN (10) 2 3/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These triangles will be used to flank the Turquoise 3 1/4″ triangles create the second Square in a Square section of this quilt block.)
