Star Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (precise 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Green: Cut TWO (2) 3 3/4″ squares. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square.
- Green: Cut SIX (6) 3 3/4″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time.
- White: Cut SIX (6) 3 3/4″ squares. (These will be paired with the Green 3 3/4″ squares to make half-square triangles.)
- White: Cut ONE (1) 4 3/4″ square.
Star Variation Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (precise 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Dark Gray: Cut EIGHT (8) 3 3/4″ squares. On the back side of each square draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time.
- Light Blue: Cut ONE (1) 3 3/4″ square. (This will be paired up with a Dark Gray 3 3/4″ square to create a half-square triangle for the center of this quilt block.
- Light Blue: Cut ONE (1) 3 3/4″ square. (This will be paired up with a Dark Gray 3 3/4″ square to create a half-square triangle for the center of this quilt block.
- White: Cut SIX (6) 3 3/4″ square. (These will be paired up with the remaining Dark Gray 3 3/4″ squares to create the remaining half-square triangles.)
