Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Pink: Cut ONE (1) 8 1/2″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block.)
- Tan: Cut FOUR (4) 4 7/8″ squares. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square.
- Tan: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These will flank the results of the White 5 1/4″ squares as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut each square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These will flank the Pink 8 1/2″ square as needed for this quilt block.)
