4-H Club Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Green: Cut FOUR (4) 1 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the White 2″ squares, which will create the center of the ‘H’, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- Green: Cut EIGHT (8) 1 7/8″ x 4 3/4″ rectangles. (These are flanked by the Green 2″ squares & the White 2″ squares. They’re also flanked by the results of the White 3 7/8″ squares as needed sew this quilt block together.)
- White: Cut EIGHT (8) 1 7/8″ squares. (These are paired with the Green 2″ squares, which will create the center of the ‘H’, as needed sew this quilt block together.)
- White: Cut EIGHT (8) 3 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (FOUR (4) of these triangles are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block. All of these triangles will flank all of the ‘H’ portion’s of this quilt block as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
