Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Green: Cut FOUR (4) 1 7/8″ x 3 3/8″ rectangles. (These are paired with the White 1 7/8″ x
3 3/8″ rectangles as needed for this quilt block.) - Aqua: Cut FOUR (4) 3 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You will end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These will flank the White
2 1/2″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Square in a Squares, as needed for this quilt block.) - White: Cut ONE (1) 3 3/8″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are flanked by the results of the Aqua 3 1/4″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Square in a Squares, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 1 7/8″ x 3 3/8″ rectangles. (These are paired with the Green 1 7/8″ x
3 3/8″ rectangles as needed for this quilt block.) - White: Cut TWO (2) 6 7/8″ squares. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You will end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These are the FOUR (4) corner’s of this quilt block.
