Nirvana Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Salmon: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block. They’re paired with the Pink 2 1/2″ squares as well as the Blue 2 1/2″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Four-Patch blocks, as needed for this quilt block.)
- Pink: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the Salmon 2 1/2″ squares as well as the Blue 2 1/2″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Four-Patch blocks, as needed for this quilt block.)
- Blue: Cut FOUR (4) 2 1/2″ squares. (These are paired with the Salmon 2 1/2″ squares as well as the Pink 2 1/2″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Four-Patch blocks, as needed for this quilt block.)
- Blue: Cut EIGHT (8) 2 7/8″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. You’ll end up with TWO (2) triangles per square. (These will flank the White 3 3/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Square in a Squares, as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut ONE (1) 4 1/2″ square. (This is the center of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FOUR (4) 3 3/8″ squares. (These are flanked by the results of the Blue 2 7/8″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Four-Patch blocks, as needed for this quilt block.)
