Stella Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Rust: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are paired with the results of the Peach
5 1/4″ squares & with the results of the White 5 1/4″ square. Together they’ll create FOUR (4) Quarter-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.) - Peach: Cut TWO (2) 5 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These are paired with the results of the Rust 5 1/4″ square & with the results of the White 5 1/4″ square. Together they’ll create FOUR (4) Quarter-Square Triangles as needed for this quilt block.)
- White: Cut FIVE (5) 4 1/2″ squares. (ONE (1) of these squares is the center of this quilt block. The rest of them are the FOUR (4) corners of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut ONE (1) 5 1/4″ square. Then cut the square diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles. (These are paired with the results of the Peach
