Mac & Cheese Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Lt. Gold: Cut TWO (2) 7 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These are flanked by the results of the Gold 2″ squares. They’re also flanked by the results of the White 4 1/4″ squares. All are needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- Gold: Cut SIXTEEN (16) 2″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Gold 2″ x 3 1/2″ rectangles, which will create SIXTEEN (16) Snowball Corners, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- Gold: Cut EIGHT (8) 2″ x 3 1/2″ rectangles. (These are paired with the Gold 2″ squares, which will create SIXTEEN (16) Snowball Corners, as needed to sew this quilt block together.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 4 1/4″ squares. Then cut the squares diagonally, corner-to-corner, TWO (2) times. You’ll end up with FOUR (4) triangles per square. (These are paired with the Gold 2″ x 3 1/2″ rectangles. Then they’ll flank the results of the Lt. Gold 7 1/4″ squares. All are needed to sew this quilt block together.)
