Beginning on January 31, 2011 we will be starting a new block of the month quilt for 2011! I’m really excited about it. The blocks are VERY simple to cut and piece and the fabric from www.AbbiMays.com is absolutely stunning! Here is a sneak peek image of the finished quilt:

My MIL made stockings for her two children when they were young, and she has continued the tradition through her grandchildren. This is a photo of the OLD stocking that she made for my hubster. LOVE the tradition and the special thoughtfullness she puts into each stocking.
Our son-man had a blast at our family Christmas party. I have no clue what this kid thinks half the time, but he sure cracks me up!
My SIL collects chili peppers for her kitchen, I collect holstein cows. These are two wonderful gifts in the “bovine” family that I received!
This is my word for myself this year – PEACE. For my family and friends, too.Â
