We just happened to be cruising down the aisles at the convention center, and I realized I was looking at Ty Pennington.  Yes, THAT Ty Pennington.  The “Extreme Home Makeover” Ty Pennington!  I just casually snapped this photograph of him as we went by:

Then, we went around the corner and I saw my friend Gina Reddin (https://www.SplintersAndThreads.com) in her booth and told her Ty was in the next row over and she nearly hurt herself getting out of her booth and grabbing her camera.  She HAD to have a photo with him!  I went around the corner with her and somehow cracked both of them up and took this pix:

Ty has a few fabric lines sold through Free Spirit Fabrics and he was at Quilt Market showcasing his ties and making his presence known.  Then, his assistant offered us one of his fabric catalogs and he autographed them for us!

Now, if any of you can decipher what he said, I’d appreciate it! 🙂
