This year, as we prepare for Christmas and the celebration of the birth of our Christ Jesus, we at Quilt Therapy are adding an additional opportunity for you to share in the gift of giving.  Our giving focus for the 2008 Christmas Countdown will be for Bibles for missionaries to give out in Ecuador.  Tamitha Lynch is a virtual friend who has shared her business, her love of God and her numerous talents with me throughout the years (and our daughters are penpals, too!).  Tamitha and her family moved to Ecuador earlier this year, to help lead at the missionary education center.  I cannot imagine a better gift than to share the Word of God with those who are hungry for His love.

Thoughts for this Christmas Countdown Day:  Love God Serve Others, that’s so fitting in love and life.  I have donated my $2 today, and by Christmas, the Lynch family will have a new Bible to offer to another Christian.  I hope you’ll be joining me.  How fitting that our gift at Christmas is the birth of Jesus the Christ, and the gift that we share will be this story and more, in the form of a Bible.
