OMG Tammy, what WOULDN’T I make with those luscious colors? I’m thinking an incredible underwater scene, and whatever’s left would go into fun table runners (my new obsession).
I would make a rainbow style quilt 🙂 the thread would go nicely with bright basic colors 🙂 I liked your Facebook page also (The Amateur Quilter) amateurquilter at gmail
I would use it for lace. They say Aurifil is very suitable for bobbin lace, so..
Greetings, Anita
Those are great colors of threads. Beautiful. I would use these to sew quilts and so many things. I NEED quilting threads very badly as I have only about 5 spools.
I have done machine embroidery since getting my sewing machine in late 2003, but two years ago I switched my attentions over to quilting as I wanted to learn. I have tons of fabric, but as I mentioned, very little thread. These would be so nice to have so I can use something other than the gray or black I do have. My hopes are to make a quilt for everyone in my family as well as all three of our grandchildren.
I have also ‘liked’ your FB page as well.
Thank you.
OOOOh, love all the colors of these threads….I would use them in quilts and as top stitching on some of my garments that I am making! Love thread because it inspires my creativity when sewing!
I have so many bright quits to quilt! the colors of the threads are amazing!
I would make a jelly roll quilt. I’ve recently watched a video and want to give it a try. Thank you for the entry. LOVE the look of these threads!
I have never used this thread. What a great opportunity to add it to my repertoire.
These are beautiful. I’d use them for machine quilting. I love this thread for piecing but have not quilted with it yet.
I could make gorgeous quilts with this thread. Aurifil is the best thread and so many wonderful, luscious colors! I would love to win this collection. Pick me, pick me!
Hello! Those colors are gorgeous. I’m joining a BOM next year and I would love to use this thread! I also liked your page on facebook!
These colors are so luscious…..and my favorites….Brights and bold. these would embellish so many of my projects. thanks for the opportunity.
My NY resolution is to pick up my quilting where I left off 5 years ago, which was cutting a bunch of squares. The variety in these threads would add a fun dimension once I start quilting the top.
I just started sewing/quilting. There are so many quilts I would like to make and this would help me 🙂
I would use it to quilt the quilt I plan on making for my bed. I’ve never used Aurifil but have heard it is very nice.
Thanks for the giveaway
Most of what I make is small quilted accessories. Sometimes I quilt the heck out of pieces and am eager to get back to that. I especially enjoy varigated threads for the quilting I do. It becomes a bit more of an embellishment.
These are beautiful threads!
I would make a great crazy quilt with this thread… I would use my machine embroidery to at some special designs to it.
I would make a quilt for my new grandbaby who is due in July for starters, and the one for each of my other grandkids. This is a wonderful prize to win. Thanks for the opportunity.
I am just starting, i have the new machine, yet i have not plugged it in yet. What am i waiting for?? fabric, thread and the basic, to begin a project. I have a very creative mind, but it has not started the the program. I know, and can see exactly the kinds of things i want to make. I guess they are not typical,as ladies, kinda look at me sideways, when i describe what i plan to make. So the best thread will/would be a wonderful gift.
Linda Walter
Gosh, I am new to the world of quilting so my world is WIDE-OPEN. I don’t really even a thread stash yet!
so fun.
I have threads but none as pretty as these. I keep trying to win something so maybe this is my lucky day. Would love to win these.
I liked you on FB!
This thread would be great for fmq. The multi colors are fantastic. These colors in particular are yummy! Thanks so much.
What beautiful thread! I had just mentioned to the co-owner of our LQS that I love thread as much as fabric! And since I am a relatively new quilter, I would take the thread into my LQS and let them help me pick out a project for each spool! lol (I received cash and a GC as Christmas gifts that are just waiting to be used!)
If I won that beautiful thread I would use it in a quilt I will be making for my best friend as she is having major health problems. I want her to have a quilt to wrap up in on days that she needs a hug.
I liked Facebook page.
Thanks
Cathy
I LOVE Aurifil and use it almost exclusively. I never use anything else for piecing quilts as the texture and silkiness of the thread buries itself in the fabric. I love the feel & look of it when using a heavier weight for the actual quilting. And it is absolutely wonderful in hand applique, as well. So, I would use these lovely threads to enhance all of my quilting projects.
I would make more quilts!
I want to do a quilt with applique flowers and this thread would be perfect. Thank you for the chance to win
I would use this to learn to do free motion quilting on the quilt that I just started. I have heard so many good things about Aurifil that I would love to try this.
I would do threadplay and longarm quilting on the solid hexies quilt I have designed. These threads are gorgeous:)
I would try them out on a variety of projects on my current list. Would love to win them!

Oh my gosh the possibiities are endless. I can see them in a beautiful spring flower quilt to name but one.
I have the perfect quilt that’s ready to quilt. It’s yellow, black, white, gray and the variegated yellow would be perfect for it. And, right now I’m piecing scrappy blocks for a log cabin quilt. It’ll be queen size when it’s done. Almost any of those sumptuous colors would be perfect for quilting it. I just love Aurifil threads!!
It would definitely use these threads on a quilt! I’d love to make a rainbow zipper pouch too and could use this thread for hand quilting. thank you for a chance to win, I’ve liked your Facebook page.

I’m pretty new to quilting so I haven’t tried fabulous Aurifil thread yet. I understand that the 12 weight is good for hand quilting so maybe I would start with a mug rug or table runner with some hand quilting on it. Thanks for the chance!

It would be interesting to try thread painting with the heavier weighted thread. Also, use it when a prominent thread display is needed with applique. I would use the thread to quilt some lovely quilt tops for my sons and husband! Beautiful!
I just started using Aurifil thread recently and have been very happy with them. I would love to have the beautiful threads shown for a variety of projects.
I love them! Probably the two things I’d do with them are to use them for machine quilting or thread painting, otherwise I’d use them for satin stitching around the edges of fused appliques.
I think I would use those to embellish a rainbow ticker-tape quilt that I’m planning to make… oh, how wonderful this thread would show on the scraps of fabric…
Aurifil just adds the touch of extravanganza to every quilt!
I’m going to make bed liners this year. I have never done this before so it will be my new project. This thread would be wonderful for that project!
I’m not sure what I would use a 12 weight thread for, something decorative. Probably would not waste such beautiful colors with piecing.
I haven’t tried Aurufil yet.. but I’ve been dying to! I keep hearing such great things about it. 😀 I’d use this to make a pretty rainbow quilt.
I liked the FB page. Thanks for the giveaway!
I would use that thread for SO MANY things:)
I would use it to quilt a top I have ready to quilt..it has all colors….I LOVE Aurifil thread. I have been using it for about two years now, and I either have to order it or drive 80 miles to buy it in the store….whatever…its worth it!
I ‘m not a 100% sure what I’d make, but I can guarantee I would top stitch, top stitch and then top stitch some more!
I love the colors and would make a quilt I am sure, the choices are many! This would also be my first time using what looks like an amazing thread.
I would use these beautiful threads for quilting!! I love Aurifil!!!
I would like to make a colorful, nature oriented quilt and for the first time make it for me! I really like using varigated thread for leaves and flowers and rocks, etc.. It makes things look so much more natural. I sewed until 2 a.m. making presents and still have more to finish but for once I would like something snuggly. With all the stress of the Holidays my Lupus really kicked up as well as my Parkinson’s and back. I feel a little selfish in wishing for this but there it is!
Such beautiful thread! ! ! I would definitely use this thread on my quilts. I love the look of variegated threads on a quilt top. Since they are 12 weight, they may be a little heavy for machine lace; however, they would make up great machine crocheted designs. AND — they would make great threads to decorate fabrics before making clothing.
Thanks,
Sandi
Wow how beautiful. I would do applique I am just starting and those colors are perfect. If I don’t win where can I buy these I live so far away from anything that I need to know a website I can get these from. Thanks
