A Quilted Look Back in Time
Sometimes, I have a hankering to go back to older photos of quilts I’ve made in days gone by. I like to remember the design, the process and the gift of the quilt…just hoping and praying that the recipient will be loving their quilted warmth as much as I loved making it.
I made this quilt design from leftover fabric from a quilt I designed for an online quilt shop. The prairie points are three dimensional, representing leaves falling. I had a blast putting this quilt together but my quilter did not have so much fun trying to quilt around those prairie points (oops).
I believe I made a trade with a lovely lady for this quilt and she has used it on her display tables for her goat’s milk soap products when she sets up a display to sell her wares. I know this quilt is in great hands, and although it’s not being used to warm someone up, it’s definitely being shown off and used by the owner with a quilted heart in mind!
