Fishing Boat Quilt Block
Cutting Requirements for 12″ finished block (scant 1/4″ seam allowance):
- Purple: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ rectangle. (This is paired with the TWO (2) Blue 3 1/2″ squares, which will create TWO (2) Snowball Corner’s for this quilt block. This will also create the bottom of this quilt block.)
- Blue: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/2″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Purple 3 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ rectangle, which will create TWO (2) Snowball Corner’s for this quilt block. This will create the bottom of this quilt block.)
- Light Blue: Cut TWO (2) 4″ squares. (These are paired with the White 4″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
- Light Blue: Cut TWO (2) 3 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ rectangles. (These will be the left & right sides of this quilt block.)
- Light Blue: Cut ONE (1) 3 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ rectangle. (This will be the top of this quilt block.)
- White: Cut TWO (2) 4″ squares. On the back side of the squares draw a diagonal line, corner-to-corner, ONE (1) time. (These are paired with the Light Blue 4″ squares, which will create FOUR (4) Half-Square Triangles, as needed for this quilt block.)
