I’m very impressed with the gorgeous free QOV patterns! I came here looking for the Quilt Dash icon and have been searching your site for almost an hour now and still haven’t figured it out. I have figured out that it has to be the Island Batik patterns, since they are titled, “In Honor” but searching the pages has turned up nothing. You really do a great job hiding that icon! 🙂 Just wanted to let you know that I love your patterns for QOV and plan to make one for my husband. He and I met while in the Army (We were both in the 26th Army Band, stationed at Ft. Wadsworth, Staten Island) My quilt guild made QOV’s for all members who had been in the service, so I got mine from them. Hubby still needs his! 🙂 Thanks for all the freebies!!

This isn’t the correct blog post for the Quilt Dash image! The one you’re looking for, is the first one you’ll find, when you search for the hint. The QOV quilt patterns are from Riley Blake & not Island Batik.
Thanks so much for the extra hint on the Quilt Dash! I was so sure it had to be Island Batik I’d probably never have found it. Much appreciated!! I also discoveed a bunch of the free QOV patterns from Island Batik don’t have files attached. I downloaded them all, only to find out that most said, “Failed-No File”. I’ll have to check on their website to see if they’re available there, but wanted to let you know. Again, thanks for your help!!
Hello again Vivian! You’re welcome! I’m quite aware that many of the Island Batik patterns are no longer available. They remove their quilt patterns from their site & don’t tell anyone that they’re doing it. I can’t do anything about it. The best thing for you to do is exactly what you’ve already done. Click through on my links & search for their free patterns!
